Does it phone home or track me? ›

Almost never. DeskFellow runs entirely on your Mac — no account, no cloud, no analytics. The only time it talks to a server is a single one-time license check with Lemon Squeezy when you activate a key; after that it's silent, forever. It's Developer-ID signed and notarized by Apple.

How does it "notice" what I'm doing? ›

It reads lightweight local signals — which app is in front, whether you're typing, if your Mac is locked, if music is playing — never the contents of anything. No screen recording, no keylogging, no special permissions.
